To be held in Pontefract Town Hall
Pontefract Town Hall (managed by Wakefield Council)
The Town Hall is in the centre of Pontefract at the east end of the pedestrian precinct. The registry office for civil marriages, births and deaths is housed in the Town Hall, which may mean some members of the public could be passing through the entrance on Saturday morning.
See the map for directions from the M1/M62/A1.
Parking is available for unloading/loading at the front of the Town Hall for a limited period but after that vehicles must be relocated to a car park.
Parking spaces (see map) are available at Friarwood Lane Car Park. Alternative car parks are marked on the map. Most parking is around a five-minute walk away.
The rooms we shall be using are upstairs on the first floor. There is a lift for disabled visitors or those with mobility difficulties, with toilets nearby. The Assembly will take place in the main hall.
