What is the PAGB ?

The Yorkshire Photographic Union is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB). This is the national organisation for photographic clubs in England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland. The YPU is one of 15 affiliated Federations based on geographical regions.

The PAGB organises national competitive photographic events for its Federations and clubs. It publishes a Handbook every two years, a copy of which goes to each affiliated club. It also offers other services such as Recorded Lectures and runs its own photographic Distinctions (known as Awards for Photographic Merit) available to qualifying club members. Information on the PAGB – and other distinctions can be found on the “Introduction to APM” page.

PAGB Membership
