Linda Jackson CPAGB
Sheffield Photographic Society (SPS) is mounting a photographic exhibition at the Portland Works in memory of much–loved member, Linda Jackson CPAGB who sadly passed away in 2023.
Linda was a very active member for 15 years, having been Secretary from 2013 to 2016 and being one of the prime movers behind SPS public exhibitions.
But first and foremost, Linda was an extremely talented and award-winning photographer and printer. Her main interests were steeped in Natural History, but she excelled in many genres of photography as can be seen from her legacy of around 160 beautiful images on display in the exhibition.
Linda passed away in October 2023 from Pancreatic Cancer and is greatly missed, not only for her photographic expertise but also as a warm and welcoming member of the Society.
The exhibition is on at the Portland Works, Randall St, Sheffield S2 4SJ – from 7th to 11th June 2024 (11- 4 daily).
