Long standing Chairman of Kirkbymoorside Camera Club, Harry Kingman is an enthusiastic traveller. Like many he re-discovered a passion for photography after taking early retirement, and says ‘I still get a thrill whenever I release the shutter…’
Harry’s journeys with his camera have taken him all over the world – from the heat of the Indian sub-continent to the frozen wastes of the Antarctic: ‘I love to travel, to see the scenery, the architecture, the wildlife, and the people but, also, I like to learn about the history and the culture.’
But for this adventure Harry stays closer to home – taking us on a fascinating tour around some of the islands surrounding Britain’s coast. Join him on a voyage of discovery, taking in the landscapes and wildlife of places that may have familiar names, but that most of us will never have visited.
