Otley Camera Club: Steve Race – “Wildlife of the Yorkshire Coast”, Thursday 8th December 2022

On Thursday evening 8th December, Otley Camera Club’s speaker is Steve Race – a well-known award-winning professional wildlife photographer based in Scarborough,

He has been a keen naturalist and photographer for over 35 years, lived on the Yorkshire Coast all of his life and believes there is no better place for variety of different habitats and amazing wildlife. From deep forests and woodlands to the beautiful landscapes of our National Parks, the rugged wild coastline and the sweeping hills of the Yorkshire Wolds you will be amazed at what you can find. 

Steve’s talk “Wildlife of the Yorkshire Coast” tells the story behind his photographic journey through Yorkshire over the years and the incredible wildlife images he has captured in ‘God’s Own County’.

He is currently a Director of Nature Tourism Company “Yorkshire Coast Nature” based in North Yorkshire, which delivers nature tours, photography workshops and events across the Yorkshire Coast and beyond, for more information visit www.yorkshirecoastnature.co.uk
