Martin Parr is a documenter of our age. His photographs offer us the opportunity to see things from his unique perspective. His early photographic days were spent in Hebden Bridge, where for a short while he was a member of Hebden Bridge Camera Club. He set up a workshop in the 70s and found a rich picking ground of characters in the Pennine area. The illustrated talk will be about his career with some retrospective work from the ‘Hebden Years’.
Proceeds from ticket sales are being equally divided between the Martin Parr Foundation and Hebden Bridge Camera Club.
