A message from Alan Sopher, YPU Secretary:
“It is with great sadness that I report the untimely passing of our friend and YPU President, Christine Hodgson. Chris died peacefully in hospital on Monday 18th August, after a rapid deterioration in her health.
Chris’s husband, Simon and daughter Natalie are very much in our thoughts as they try to come to terms with her sudden passing.
Once the family’s wishes about funeral arrangements are known, I will of course share them.
There will be questions about what happens next in our photographic community regarding Chris’s successor, but now is not the time to consider them. I have asked the webmaster to redirect president@ypu.org.uk emails to me in the meantime.
