Autumn is one of the most picturesque seasons at Ampleforth Abbey, and we would love to extend an open invitation to local camera clubs to visit and capture the stunning colours of the season across our beautiful valley and grounds.
If your members are happy to share a selection of their images with us after their visit, we’d be delighted to offer each participating photographer a complimentary hot drink from the Tearoom as a thank-you. Visits just need to be pre-booked so that we know when to expect your group.
In addition, we thought your members might be interested in our upcoming Astrophotography Workshop on Saturday 25th October. This evening event offers a unique opportunity to explore the night skies above Ampleforth with expert guidance and access to our atmospheric setting after dark.
Camera club groups of five or more can receive a 20% discount on workshop tickets if they agree to share a few of their images with us afterwards. Any photos featured on our social media will, of course, be fully credited to the photographer, who will retain full copyright.
