The high point of the YPU year, our Annual Assembly and opening of our Annual Exhibition, will take place in Dewsbury on Saturday 9th May 2026.
The Assembly will take place in Dewsbury Town Hall, Wakefield Old Road, Dewsbury, WF12 8DG, starting at 10.30am prompt. The hall will be open from 9:45am. Details of suggested transport options and parking can be found on the Dewsbury Town Hall website and are shown in the image below. Once at the Town Hall there will be signs and Dewsbury CC members to help direct you to the Assembly.
The Assembly will start with a welcome and introduction of our Guest of Honour, Christine Widdall FBPE MPAGB EFIAP APAGB HonLCPU. The meeting will continue with a first showing of the Accepted Projected Digital Images and images of the Accepted prints which have received awards, including Print Trophy and Certificate winners, POTY and Society Awards. The awarding of Trophies and Certificates will follow this.
Concluding remarks and a vote of thanks will bring proceedings to a close at around 12:30pm. The Print Exhibition, which also takes place in Dewsbury Town Hall, will then be open. Coffee and tea will be available in the Assembly foyer.
Once the Assembly finishes, club print boxes will be available for collection, along with Exhibition programmes. Please ensure that a representative from your club collects the boxes and all the programmes for your entrants, as we don’t want any left over…
