We are thrilled that renowned wildlife photographer Tom Way is joining us at BCC on Tuesday 15 April. We are very fortunate to have been able to book Tom, as his diary is usually filled months if not years in advance. This promises to be an excellent evening of superb images and stories.
Tom is recognised for his powerful and engaging portraiture of Africa’s large mammals. He favours a fine art black and white style of photography, and his images are widely exhibited in galleries and exhibitions. His work has received multiple awards in the world’s leading photographic competitions, including Wildlife Photographer of the Year and GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
Please see below and the website listing for further information about Tom and his talk.

This promises to be an excellent evening so please put the date in your diary. As always you are very welcome to join us – £5 per person, or £7.50 per couple, using a shared screen.
- First, please go to the Tom Way talk on the Bishopthorpe CC website
- Choose ‘Buy Single Visitor Ticket’ or ‘Buy Joint Visitor Ticket’ at the bottom of that page.
- After selecting your single or joint ticket type, you will be asked to register for or login to your account. This is necessary for us to confirm your booking and send you the Zoom link automatically by email. You will only need to register once.
- Once you have booked, you will receive the Zoom link by email.
- There is now no deadline for booking
The Zoom link will also appear on the website’s ‘What’s on’ page, on the ‘Additional Information’ page for the meeting(s) you have booked for whenever you are logged in. So if you inadvertently lose the email, you will still be able to access the Zoom link on the website. In this particular case, after booking you will find the Zoom link at the bottom of the following page: (i.e. the Tom Way event page where you booked).
